Are you ready to drive ambitious growth and make a lasting impact? We are seeking a passionate Business Development & Work Winning Director to join our team and play a pivotal role in advancing our FM business unit’s growth goals. Your expertise will shape our approach to business development, client partnerships, and winning strategies, positioning FM as the top choice for both existing and prospective customers.

Key Accountabilities will include

Strategic Bid Development: Create and manage effective bid plans aligned with our business strategy, increasing win rates and quality outcomes.

New Business & Partnership Growth: Identify and build a strong pipeline of business opportunities, nurturing relationships to enhance work-winning success.

Proposal & Brand Strategy: Shape proposal themes, "win themes," and strategies to ensure high-quality outputs, while expanding WPS FM’s profile and brand presence.

Internal Collaboration: Work with other Wates companies to maximise cross-selling and partnership opportunities.

Financial Impact: Take ownership of growth targets, aiming for a £30-50M annual pipeline and securing £8-10M in new revenue per year.

People Leadership: Manage a dynamic team, ensuring excellent performance, effective resource management, and strong SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environmental, Quality) compliance.
